This should be an easy won for No. 3 Michigan on Saturday. The Wolverines completely destroyed Rutgers two weeks ago, holding the Scarlet Knights to just 22 yards and two first down. Illinois only scored 14 points against Rutgers, but still managed to pull out a win. Michigan probably won’t need 78 points to beat Illinois, but the damage might be just as bad.
Illinois’ offense isn’t the best offense in the world and having to throw the ball to Jabrill Peppers isn’t going to be fun for Illini quarterback Wes Lunt. Illinois only averages 26 points per game, while Michigan only allows 10 per game. This one is going to be ugly in Ann Arbor, but expect nothing less from Jim Harbaugh‘s squad.
