Both the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers need a win desperately to stop their seasons from spiraling out of control. The Panthers will have Cam Newton back and hopefully he can inject some life into an offense that has been very much stagnant for a majority of the season. There’s no doubt that if the Panthers lose this game, they’re basically kissing their playoff hopes goodbye. It would give the Atlanta Falcons an open highway to the division title.

On the opposite side, the Saints are in the same position. Drew Brees definitely needs to help out this offense for the Saints to get back on track. Both defenses will be a major key in this game as well. The Panthers corners really need to focus and step up because if they’re not careful, Brees is going to burn them with targets like Coby Fleener and Willie Snead IV. Also, it could be interesting to see whether the Saints are going to let Newton run. He suffered his concussion on a running play. Will the Panthers even let him scramble? We shall see.
