The injury bug has bit down hard on the Minnesota Vikings this season. The team announced Friday that left tackle Matt Kalil underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in his hip and will miss the remainder of the season. Kalil’s injury is just another addition to the laundry list of injuries the Vikings have suffered this season. Minnesota had previously placed him on injured reserve and didn’t designate him to return after six weeks. T.J. Clemmings will take over Kalil’s spot. He started 17 games on the right side last season. Kalil is set to be a free agent in March.
