New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski will be active for Thursday night’s game against the Houston Texans, while quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is out.

That means Gronkowski will be catching balls from rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett and in case Brissett gets injured, Julian Edelman is the emergency quarterback.

Gronkowski has missed the first two weeks of the season due to a hamstring injury. It hasn’t seemed to bother the Patriots much since they started the season 2-0 with wins over the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins.

For Brissett, he will be the first black quarterback to start for the Patriots for the first time in the franchise’s history
