Penn State football honored former head coach Joe Paterno at halftime during their game against Temple.

The Nittany Lions have come under fire for this move because of his alleged ignorance involving the Jerry Sandusky child rape scandal. Paterno’s statue was removed from Beaver Stadium when the news broke of Paterno possibly ignoring Sandusy’s transgressions.

However, Penn State ignored all of the critics Saturday and played this video on the screen at halftime.
