The Seattle Seahawks lost tight end Jimmy Graham to a torn patellar tendon last season against the Pittsburgh Steelers. It was a big loss and probably prevented the Seahawks from going further in the playoffs than they did.
Seattle received some good news Friday.
According to ESPN, Graham is expected to return Sunday for the Seahawks’ opener against the Minnesota Vikings.
“He had a great last few weeks,” coach Pete Carroll said. “He’s done everything we could ask of him. He couldn’t be more excited about playing. …I do expect him to play.”
Graham had 48 receptions for 605 yards and two touchdowns before his injury.
