San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was seen making another political statement on the football field Thursday. This time, Kaepernick was wearing socks with pigs in police uniforms on them.

Kaepernick then took to Instagram to explain why he wore the socks.

However, Kaepernick had worn the socks in early August and they were described as “police bulldogs.” Both pictures are sort of distorted.

Kaepernick has been ostracized for sitting during the National Anthem as a response to police brutality and racism in the U.S.

All eyes will be on him Thursday night as the 49ers play the San Diego Chargers in Qualcomm Stadium during military appreciation night.
