The Washington Wizards acquired guard Trey Burke from the Utah Jazz for a second-round draft pick on Sunday, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

The Jazz had been shopping Burke since the end of last week after acquiring George Hill, loading up on the backcourt. The Burke trade was inevitable and giving him to the Wizards is a bit of a good fit..

Coming off the bench for the Jazz, Burke averaged 10.6 points and 2.3 assists per game last season. He may have a larger role with the Wizards this year.
