The Toronto Raptors are expected to re-sign guard DeMar DeRozan, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical. DeRozan and the Raptors have agreed to a five-year, $139 million deal.

Though it was thought that DeRozan could’ve been going to the Los Angeles Lakers in the offseason, the idea seemed to dissipate as the playoffs continued on. It doesn’t even seem like the Lakers got a meeting with the former USC product.

DeRozan and the Raptors won their first seven-game playoff series this year and got to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time in history.

He averaged 23.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4 assists per game in the 2015-16 season.
