The Montreal Canadiens and the Nashville Predators completed a huge blockbuster trade Wednesday. The Canadiens traded P.K. Subban to the Predators for Shea Weber.

The Canadiens originally were saying they weren’t trading Subban. However, a no-movement clause kicks in on July 1 and Montreal got an offer they couldn’t refuse.

Subban had six goals and 51 points in 68 games for Montreal last season.

Weber served as the captain for the Predators for the last six years. Last season, he scored 20 goals and 51 points in 78 games and won the Mark Messier Leadership Award.
