The owner of the New England Patriots might have his toe in the mixed martial arts water. According to ESPN, Robert Kraft is part of an investing group that is looking to buy UFC.

The Kraft Group has put up between $25-50 million as part of a WME-IMG bid that might top $4 billion.

Pro Football Talk noted that Kraft might be putting his money into a future NFL comptetitor. The Fertitta brothers, who own 81 percent of UFC currently, could use the sale money to fund a Las Vegas NFL team.

UFC has been mentioned in sale talk for the last month or so, but Dana White has denied that the Fertittas are interested in selling.
