The Milwaukee Bucks and head coach Jason Kidd are finalizing a three-year, $11 million contact extension, The Vertical’s Adrian Wojnarowski reported Monday.

Kidd has managed to take a Bucks team that was pretty much in an abyss of obscurity and make them into some sort of playoff contenders. He hasn’t reached the playoffs with Milwaukee, but the three-year deal the front office is nearing with him shows that they have the utmost confidence he can bring the Bucks into the playoffs.

The former NBA point guard has a 74-90 record with Milwaukee in two seasons. He went 33-49 last year and has the No. 10 pick in the NBA Draft.
