The San Francisco Giants are looking to get at least one more player before the trade deadline comes. It would give them a big boost over the rival Los Angeles Dodgers and possibly give them that extra something they would need to win the division.

According to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale, the Giants have inquired about Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun. The Giants are looking someone who can spur the time between Hunter Pence‘s absence.

However, the Giants would have to do a lot to try and make the Brewers pay off the rest of Braun’s $100 million deal. Acquiring him would be something great. He’s hitting a solid .316/.378/.541 with 11 home runs this year.

It will take some major hocus pocus, though, for the Giants to deal around the Braun’s big contract.
