Five-star quarterback Tate Martell has narrowed his list of schools down to five and those in Southern California should be especially happy because USC and UCLA are both on his list of five schools. Cal is also on his list.
Ohio State and Colorado also made an appearance when Martell announced it on Twitter Sunday morning, ironically from Manhattan Beach, Calif., which could mean good things for the Trojans and Bruins.
Martell was in Southern California for Elite 11 quarterback training and look good in spurts, hitting his targets and making good passes which has big schools licking their chops.
The Las Vegas native is the top quarterback left in this year’s round of recruiting. He’s considered to be the top dual-threat quarterback in the nation as well and would definitely fit right in should he choose USC or UCLA. He might not get as much coverage should he decide to choose the Golden Bears.
We should find out by the end of the month where Martell goes.
