The New York Giants went running back with the 149th pick of the NFL Draft on Saturday. The Giants took Paul Perkins out of UCLA and will add some depth behind Rashad Jennings.

The redshirt sophomore from Mesa, Ariz. rushed for 1,343 yards last season, finishing fourth in the Pac-12. He was also a Second Team All-Conference selection. The big running back can power his way between the tackles and might do a better job at pass blocking for Eli Manning, something the Giants really needed last season.

Perkins finished his college career with the third-most rushing yards in school history.
