Los Angeles Lakers Plan To Interview David Blatt

The Los Angeles Lakers plan to interview former Cleveland Cavaliers head coach David Blatt for its position, ESPN reported Thursday. Blatt will be added to the laundry list of coaches the Lakers plan to talk to about the job vacated by Byron Scott last weekend.

Blatt has also talked with the New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings about their head coaching vacancies. The Knicks are said to have Kurt Rambis as the top choice. The Kings’ position is still wide open after they fired George Karl at the end of the season.

Hoops Rumors noted that there are other candidates, aside from the obvious that you’ve read about on LA Sports Pulse, that have been mentioned as possible candidates.
