The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-handed reliever Yimi Garcia on the 15-day disabled Saturday with right bicep soreness. Garcia was removed from Friday night’s appearance against the Colorado Rockies.

The Dodgers recalled Zach Lee from Triple-A Oklahoma City in the corresponding roster move, ESPN reported. Lee, who was in contention for the No. 5 starter in spring training, will be used out of the bullpen.

Manager Dave Roberts was relieved Garcia’s injury wasn’t more severe. But they were taking a precautionary measure by putting Garcia on the disabled list so soon.
