Right-handed pitcher Yimi Garcia left his appearance early with the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday night with right bicep soreness, Dave Roberts told reporters after the game, per True Blue LA.

“Yimi had some right biceps soreness. We’re going to evaluate that. We’re doing that now, and we’ll know more later,” Roberts said. “At that point in time, he’s shaking his arm and his bicep was bothering him. It made my job that much easier.”

Garcia was concerned over the injury. He told the Los Angeles Times “I’m a little worried. No one wants that to happen.”

Garcia was replaced in the seventh by Adam Liberatore. Garcia allowed the tying run to score. Overall, he has posted a 3.24 ERA in nine appearances so far this year.

Be sure to expect something more coming out of the organization Saturday about his injury.
