Los Angeles Dodgers left-handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw is known for bringing the heat. However, against the Atlanta Braves Thursday afternoon Kershaw deputed a new pitcher.
Kershaw debuted a 46 mph eephus pitch.
The pitch didn’t even register on the Turner Field radar gun. It had to be determined later in the game the speed of the pitch. It’s the slowest pitch recorded in baseball this season — 25 mph slower than the previously slowest pitch.
