The Los Angeles Rams are going to draft a quarterback with the No. 1 pick next week. Prior to make a big splash with the trade, the Rams seemed to be committed to using Case Keenum as its starting heading into the 2016 season.
The restricted free agent will rejoin the Rams this season after no one gave him an offer sheet, according to Pro Football Talk. There was no way anyone was going to give Keenum a first-round pick for him.
Keenum played in six games for the Rams last season, starting in five of them. He threw for 828 yards and four touchdowns. He also completed 60 percent of his passes last year — a career high.
