The Los Angeles Rams announced its 2016 regular season schedule Thursday and will open up on the road against the San Francisco 49ers on the first Monday Night of the NFL season.

It’s a perfect way to start the season. Two rival teams, both teams will presumably new quarterbacks and the Rams donning the Los Angeles uniforms for the first time since 1994.

The first Rams home game will take place the following week against the Seattle Seahawks. It will be a major test for the Rams who swept the Seahawks last season. It will also be the first game back in Los Angeles. What a way it would be to welcome the fans back with a Sunday afternoon win.

Los Angeles will also play a home away from home game in London against the New York Giants in Week 7. The Rams will have a bye week after that game.
